Experian Independent Third Party Assessment (EI3PA)
An Experian Independent Third Party Assessment (EI3PA) is an annual information security assessment for companies that store, process, and/or transmit Experian provided data. Modeled after the Payment Card Industry’s Data Security Standards (PCI DSS), the Experian Security Assessment Standards (ESAS) focus on technical, administrative, and operational controls for securing Experian’s highly sensitive and confidential information. Unlike PCI DSS that offers a self-assessment option for those who qualify, all EI3PA certifications must be performed by a PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) Company, regardless of your organization’s size or the volume of information you interact with.
Contextual Security works diligently to maintain world-class knowledge of current standards, and our QSA certified compliance auditors have years of experience in multiple industry verticals and across organizations of all sizes to provide you with the context and expert consultation you need to achieve compliance with the Experian Security Audit Requirements. In addition to a compliance assessment, EI3PA certification also requires internal and external network-layer and application-layer penetration testing. In a world of constantly evolving technology risks and high-profile data breaches, you need a trusted security partner that understands your business and tailors their services to meet your unique needs. That is what Contextual Security is all about. At Contextual Security, Solid Security Begins with Knowing. Excels by Doing.
Contextual Security, a PCI Qualified Security Assessor Company (QSAC), provides a full suite of services to assist our clients in meeting and maintaining their annual compliance with Experian Independent Third Party Assessments (EI3PA). Whether EI3PA is a new endeavor for your organization or you’re a seasoned professional, our experienced consultants will help you understand the true risks to your operations and achieve security first. After that, maintaining compliance becomes an easy and painless process.
In addition, our illumino platform allows those responsible for the organizations compliance initiatives to have 24/7 visibility into the audits progress. Our illumino platform was developed out of a need to eliminate the disconnects and frustrations our customers have seen with other compliance consultancies, where issues or gaps in compliance were either not communicated effectively or not until it was too late. The illumino platform gives organizations the ability to quickly identify the status (Compliant, Not Compliant, Remediating, etc.) of each control/sub-control within the Experian Security Assessment Standards, including the information that was relied upon by the QSA to make the status determination. By making this information available 24/7, there are no surprises!
Finally, we understand that you didn’t get into business to be burdened by compliance objectives but evolving markets and regulations have increased scrutiny in these areas, and your reputation is on the line. The good news is that we did make compliance our business. We know compliance inside and out because we deal with it every day and because of that, we’ve optimized our tools and services to efficiently and effectively drive results and enhance our client experience. So let Contextual Security alleviate your compliance burdens so you can get back to focusing on your core business. At Contextual Security, Solid Security Begins with Knowing. Excels by Doing.
